System Description

iCountTM is an advanced video content analysis system that automatically detects and counts people from overhead cameras as they enter or exit an area of interest.  Accurate counting data is stored in a database from where they are retrieved or can be exported via a browser-based application.
People counting application provides important information and statistics for facility/bus/scene manager.

• People Counting Device: it is composed by IP camera with embedded Intelligent Video Analytics software.
• People Counting Client-end Software: to fulfill the functionality such as Real-time Video Monitoring, People counting data management and device setup etc.
